10th Annual Laughlin Invitational Cross-Country Meet
Saturday, October 2, 2010
Location: The meet will be
held at Mt. View Park in Laughlin, NV. The park is located at 1975 Arie
Avenue which is 1.25 miles south of the turn-off to Laughlin High School
on Needles Highway. The park is on the east side of the road at the
corner of Arie Avenue and Needles Highway.
Awards:
Varsity races: Medals to the top 1/3 in each varsity race. Trophies to the top 2 teams in each varsity race.
Junior Varsity races: Medals to the top 1/3 in each race
Course and Meet Schedule:The
3.1 mile course consisting of grass, park trail, and gravel road will be
the same course that the 2010 Nevada 2A and 3A Regional Championship
races will be run on.
Friday: The course will be open for inspection and team packets will be available from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm.
Saturday’s schedule: 6:30 am Registration opens and team packets available for pick-up
8:00 am Junior High School boys race
8:30 am Junior High School girls race
9:00 am Varsity boys race
9:30 am Varsity girls race
10:00 am Junior Varsity boys race
10:30 am Junior Varsity girls race
11:00 am Awards and trophy presentation

Entry fee will be $6.00 per
runner or $125.00 per school. Deadline to enter is 9:00 pm on Tuesday,
September 28, 2010. Schools may enter 7 runners in the varsity race. All
other runners may be entered in the JV race.
